About Anne Bagnell (or Bagenal)
From the book, "Baronetage of England," printed for John Stockdale, published in 1806: Sir Gervase was the eldest son of Robert Clifton, Esq., son of Sir Gervase, 1st Baronet Clifton, by his sixth wife, Jane Eyre. He married Anne, daughter of Dudley Bagnell, Esq., of Newry, in Ireland. He had 15 sons and 1 daughter. He died in March 1730/1 and was succeed by his son Robert.

Ann Bagenal was the daughter of Colonel Dudley Bagenal and Ann Mathew.1 She married, firstly, Sir Gervase Clifton, 4th Bt., they had fifteen sons and one daughter.1 She married, secondly, William Blackburne.1 She died in 1734.1 Her married name became Clifton.1 Her married name became Blackburne.1
