About Anne Butler
Will of Anne Butler reads. A Will of such legacies by word given and bequeathed by Anne Butler, late of Rawcliffe in the archdiocese of Richmond, widow deceased. She gave and bequeathed to every one of her son Robert Butlers children £20 together. Item. She gave to her servant Anne Robinson and children her books £10 together in respect of arrangement of their mouths. Item. She gave and bequeathed to William Butler her oldest son the great bed and truckle bed in the chamber called the lower chamber and the great bed and truckle beds in the great high chamber and £10 in money. Item. She gave and bequeathed to her son Nicholas Butler £10 and to her son Thomas Butler £10. Item. She gave and bequeathed to her sister Butler her slash gown and forty shillings (£2) in money. Item. To Ellen the nurse her cloth gown. Item. To John Atherton her grandchild £5. Finish. The Will was proved early 1623.
