Biography

Anne Judith Comeau was baptized August 1, 1705 in Port Royal / Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada ≤sup>1≤/sup>. She married Rene Gise of the parish of Rosier en Anjout in Grand Pré on 26 Feb 1726 both of Judith'sparents were deceased at the time of her wedding.≤ref>http://heritage.canadiana.ca/view/oocihm.lac_reel_c1870/618?r=0&s=5≤/ref>≤sup>2≤/sup>After he died she married the widower Charles Richard on September 21, 1757.≤sup>3≤/sup>
The family were among those who ended up in England during the Grande Derangement and were aboard l'Ambition that took passengers from Southampton to Saint-Malo, France.≤sup>4≤/sup>
Anne Judith died in Saint-Servan on the 22nd of July in 1777 and was buried the next day.≤sup>5≤/sup>
