DR10/487 - date: 2 October 1453 [from Scope and Content] Power of attorney from Thomas Ferrers son and heir of Thomas Ferrers senior, esq., and Ann his wife to John Est clerk and Gilbert Faldryng to receive seisin from the said John Ferrers senior or his attornies of the water-mill called Alfordmylne, alias Peggemylne with its river-meadows etc. in Coventr', now in the tenure of John Bristowe of the same, farmer of the said mill; this to be done in accordance with a charter from the said Thomas senior to his son.
