About Anne Gore, Countess of Arran
Anne Gore, Countess of Arran was the second wife of Arthur Saunders , 2nd Earl of Arran Gore 1734-1809. Her father was the Reverend Boleyn Knight of Otley, North Yorkshire. Her predecessor had been the Honourable Catherine Annesley 1739-1770, married in 1760, who gave her husband six children. Anne Gore & her husband had three children. : The Very Revered George Gore, Dean of Killala in Ireland 1774-1844, Mary Louisa Knox-Gore Lady 1775-1827; & Eleanor Cavendish Lady (1776-1812)
