About Anne Howard, {probably fictional}
In September, 1606, Lady Alethea Talbot married Thomas Howard, and they had four children; their first son died as a teenager:
- James Howard, Baron Maltravers (1607–1624)
- Henry Frederick Howard, 22nd Earl of Arundel (1608–1652)
- Anne Howard (1612–1658)
- William Howard, 1st Viscount Stafford (c. 1614-1680)

The defunct website (archived http://www.geocities.com/decklyduck/Family/pafg10.htm) shows her as wife of Jeffrey Ferris, a founder of the Puritan town of Greenwich, Fairfield, Connecticut. That a "noble" only daughter from a noted Royalist & recusant (Catholic) family would have married a Puritan colonist strains credibility, and there is no supporting evidence. Disconnected May 2015.
