on pages 40-41 (images 41-42 on the pdf file) which shows the manor of Quenby held by WILLIAM ASHBY and wife KATHERINE HOUGHTON was passed down to their son, GEORGE Ashby, and thereafter to George's daughter ANNE (Ashby) SKEVYNGTON.

ROBERT Ashby is described in court records as Anne's "kinsman" and next in line to inherit the manor of Quenby.
