Ann Batt, daughter of Nicholas & Lucy Batt born circa 1630 in England, emigrated 5 Apr 1635 on the "James" of London from Southampton England, with her father, a linen weaver, arrived 3 Jun 1635 at Boston, Massachusetts.

Ann Webster was given in a legacy in her father's will dated 18 June 1674. On 28 Feb 1677/78 "John Emery, Jr, aged about 50 years, "deposed " that in the year 1653 on the day that John Webster was contracted to Ann Batt, eldest daughter of Nicolas Batt of Newbury ... said whilst I live I cannot do much for her but I will weave her cloth ..."
