About Annie Gray
Obituary stated place of birth to be as on form here, but marriage cert. has hand written note as Kintail - on Shore of Lake Huron.
obituary states: "She came to Manitoba with her people in 1871 and to Alberta in 1886 to be with her sister the late Mrs. [Grace] Donald Morrison and was married the following year."
when she died, son William lived in Turner Valley and daughter Isabel lived in Nanton.
"She was one of a family of ten herself, 7 boys and 3 girls, of whom one sister Mrs. [Isabelle] Ferguson, of Winnipeg and two brothers, Hector of North Vancouver and Duncan of Arden, Manitoba, survive. The late Alexander McRae was also a brother. After her marriage she went with her husband to reside on their farm several miles west of town where they remained til 1917 when they sold out and removed to Calgary, where they lived for 3 years, leaving in 1920 for Victoria where they have since resided" [Okotoks Review]
