"MRS G W REYNOLDS PASSED AWAY FRIDAY MORNING IN THIS CITY (Weatherford, TX)

Mrs Geo. W. Reynolds, age 74 years died at the family home 602 Bridge Street, Friday morning at 5:35 o'clock. She had been ill for the past several years and for the past five months had been confined to her bed.

Mrs Reynolds was born in Alabama but came to texas with her family when a young woman, She had resided in parker County continuously for more than fifty years. For the past four years she and her husband had lived at the present home in Weatherford.

There are surviving, besides her husband, Geo. W. Reynolds, eight daughters and one son as follows: Mrs J W Sentell and mrs W J Sentell, both of Weatherford; Mrs Lucy Grimes, Shamrock, Okla; Mrs Barney Hobbs, Pineville; Mrs Hester Patton, Amarillo; Mrs Roy lewis, Fort Worth; Mrs Lena Weston, Kalamazoo, Mich; Mrs Clay Rhoden, Weatherford; and Less [sic ]Reynolds, Pooleville.

The funeral services were held from the Springtown Methodist Church Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with Rev. W R Witherspoon officiating, assisted by the pastor. Burial took place in the Springtown Cemetery.
