Anson Bryan Howard

Dear Mr Barnard

Anson Howard, known generally as Major Howard, taught at Cheltenham College

Junior School from 1960 until 1983. He had been a hockey blue at Cambridge

and ran the school 1st XI. When he retired the Howard Pavilion was named in

his honour.

He submitted some reminiscences to the Junior School book which was only

published last year but I don't know if he is still alive.
