I. Jacob Wismer, (...) was born in Germany about 1684, and died in Bedminster Township, Bucks Co., Pa., Feb. 4, 1787 in his one hundred and third year.

The children of Jacob and Nanny Wismer, as near in the order of birth as could be placed were: ---Jacob, Mary, Elizabeth, Joseph, Henry, Mark, Daniel, John, Christian, Nanny, Abraham.

II. Jacob Wismer,* bn. in Bucks Co., Pa., about 1721. Mrd. Margaret ---. The dates of death of himself and wife are not known. He received his portion of his father's estate in 1783. Lived in Plumstead Twp. at what is known as the burnt mill, where he followed the occupation of miller. Children: Abraham, Isaac, Anna, Mary, Elizabeth, Jacob, Mary, Barbara, Hannah, Margaret.

III. Margaret Wismer, bn. June 4, 1768; died July 23, 1822. Mrd. Anthony Fretz, Apr. 16, 1795. He was bn. Feb. 1, 1774; died Jan. 26, 1856. He mrd. second wife a Quaker lady. He lived on a farm of 60 acres at the "Old Burnt Mill," in Plumstead Twp. Farmer and miller. Children: Samuel, Anna, Mary, Mark, Elizabeth, Joseph, Catharine.

IV. Joseph Fretz, bn. Mar. 23, 1807; died Mar. 17, 1854. Mrd. Catharine Fretz, daughter of "Big Joe," in 1833. Cabinet maker and miller. Menn. Children: Nathan, Isaiah, Reuben, Moses, Ely, Aaron.

V. Reuben Fretz, bn. in Bucks Co., Pa., Sept. 27, 1837. Mrd. Fannie Holley, Nov. 15, 1868. Aug. 14, 1862 he enlisted for 3 years in the 103 O. V. I. was in the command of Gen. A. E. Burnside, in the siege of Knoxville, Tenn. and with Gen. Sherman in the Atlanta Campaign. Farmer in Clay Co., Ind. He attends Meth. Ep. ch. Wife, Menn. Children:
