Biography

Antoine Gagnon was born on 3 September 1702 and baptised, at theage of 1 year old and six days, on 9 September 1703 in Riviere-Ouelle, Canada, Nouvelle-France. He was the son of Jean (Gaignon) Gagnon and Jeanne (Longnon) Loignon.≤ref>Baptism IGD≤/ref>
Antoine Gagnon, age 24, married Reine Ouellet, 22 yearold daughter of Abraham (Oylet) Ouellet and Reine (Meneux) Meneux dite Châteauneuf, on 24 November 1727 in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière.≤ref>Marriage IGD≤/ref>
Antoine Gagnon passed away suddenly on 4 May 1775 being given the age of around 78 years old on the record. His burial was the following dayin Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, Province de Québec.≤ref>Burial IGD≤/ref>
