Antonia Margaret Cameron (June 11, 1923 - July 5, 2013)

Antonia Margaret Cameron, 90, formerly of Atchison, Kansas passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 at Belleville, Kansas.

She was born June 11, 1923 at Atchison to Lucio Reyes and Jacinta Marie (Gurrola) Jimenez.

Toni, as she was affectionately known, grew up in Atchison with eight brothers and three sisters.

She was united in marriage to William Jesse Bowen who had a son William Louis Bowen, Sr. Toni and William had two sons together, Fredrick Thomas and William Jesse, Jr. Toni's husband William died in 1954.

Later she married William Cameron in 1962 moving to Norton, Kansas at that time.

Toni worked several jobs including a cook at the Lucky Strike Grill and was a homemaker. They moved to Phillipsburg, Kansas in the early 1970s. In 1976 they moved to Lincoln, Kansas where she worked as a nurse's aide. In 1992 they retired and moved to Lancaster, Kansas to enjoy their retirement years. Toni loved spending time with her family, crocheting, playing bingo, cooking for large family gatherings, and watching sporting events such as the Kansas City Chiefs and Jayhawk basketball. She was a devote Catholic.

Toni was preceded in death by her parents, her husband's; William J. Bowen, Sr., and William Cameron, a son; Frederick Thomas (Tom) Bowen, a step-son; William Louis Bowen, Sr., two daughters-in-laws; Julie Bowen and Naomi Bowen, one brother-in-law; Guy Gallery, a step-grandson; James Dominic Bowen, seven brothers; Victor, Julian, Robert, Alex, Cosmos, Johnny and a brother who died in infancy, and a sister; Mary Razo.

She will be forever remembered by her son; William "Jazz" Bowen (Mary Ann Kasl) Belleville; daughter-in-law; Mary Kay Bowen, Wichita, KS, her brother; Art Jimenez, Lee's Summit, MO, two sisters; Julia (Alvin) Mapes, Norton, KS and Virginia Galley, Atchison, KS, nine grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; twenty step-great grandchildren; thirty-eight step-great, great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
