Gentlemen of the shire are settling their affairs with the Duke of Argyll's managers; this mostly over; tacks set of Duart; infeftments in estates of Clanronald, Lochiell, Appin and McDougall; factors appointed on estates of Cleinmachrie for McDugall and Appin, Archibald of Dungallon, a brother of Glendessarie, for Clanronald, and writer has accepted factorship of Lochiel; this only form as rent is taken up by former owners before they went abroad; nothing can be expected of rent of Appin.
