22 August 1712: Discharge by Archibald Hamiltone of Killieleach, factor to William H. of Killieleach, his uncle, to Sir John Kennedy of Culzean, for 3,000 merks Scots remaining of payment to be made by contract of 3 February 1653 between Hugh and Thomas Kennedy of Ardmillan and Agnes Kennedy, daughter of Sir Alexander K. of Culzean, followed by assignation to, and translation from, Sir Daniel Carmichael of Malzlie, citing decreet - and precept of poinding - GD25/7/99, 100.
