June 30, 1951: Barberton, Ohio, Archie Herman Romig, 72, a retired Pennsylvania Railroad Co. employee, died Wednesday at his home, 125 Hazelwood, Ave. A life resident of Barberton, he leaves his wife, Annie; two sons, Clifford C. of Barberton and Archie W. of Doylestown; three daughters, Lula M. of Barberton, Viola G. Speck of Noblesville, and Evelyn F. Kearns of Independence, Mo.; A sister Mrs. [William] Emma L. Gregory of Barberton; six grand children and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 7 pm at Paul L. Mills Funeral Home where services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday. Elder Guy Hammond, Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Clergy. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery.
