Ardolf or Adolphe second count of Guines said the Posthumous (° † ap.996 v.966). Son of Siegfried I of Guines said the Danes and Elstrude Ghent.
He was almost to his birth provided the title of Count of Guines by Arnulf II, Count of Flanders, his cousin, who brought him up in his court. Arnulf II also gave him the land of Brédenarde. He surrounds the Chateau de Guines a double ditch, called the tank.
