About Ardythe Louella Heimgartner

ARDYTHE L. HEIMGARTNER, 58, CLAIMED BY CANCER.

Ardythe L. Heimgartner, a Juliaetta homemaker, died of cancer Wednesday, September 12, 1990 at her home on Stoney Point. She was 58.

She was born February 17, 1932, to Clarence and Luella Engbert Lindor at Bellingham, Wash. She lived at Bellingham until the mid 1940's, when she moved to Coeur d' Alene and then to Juliaetta in 1947.

She graduated from Kendrick High School. She married Roy C. Heimgartner July 20, 1951, at Colfax.

Mrs. Heimgartner enjoyed caring for her lawn and gardens, arranging flowers, working with stained glass, quilting, needlepoint, embroidery, knitting and watching her grandchildren participate in sports

She was a member of the Hill and Valley Garden Club, Idaho Women for Agriculture, American Agri-Women, Stoney Point Friendship Club, the Juliaetta Community Church and was a life member of the Idaho State Federation of Garden Clubs.

Survivors include her husband, Roy, of Juliaetta; two sons, Lee of Juliaetta and Dale of Naknek, Alaska; a sister, Ione Peters of Juliaetta; two brothers, Harold Lindor of Newport, Oregon, and Elmer Lindor of Ione, Washington; and four grandchildren, Leah, Lynn, Chad and Jeremy.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 15, at 2 p.m. at Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel at Lewiston with the Rev. Lonnie Williams officiating. Organist was Mrs. Marjorie Stevens. Singers were Doug and Amy Lohman and musical selections were "How Great Thou Art", and "The Old Rugged Cross".

Casket Bears were: Charles Taylor, Ralph Nichols, Tony Arnzen, Steve Boyer, Ed Miller and Albert Lawrence.

Honorary Bearers were all those who knew and loved her.

Burial was a Fix Ridge Cemetery.

The family suggests any memorials were contributions to Hospice of the Palouse, the Juliaetta-Kendrick Ambulance Fund or the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
