About Arie H. Keim

Arie H. Keim 88, of Berlin, passed away at the Walnut Hills Nursing Rehab Unit on Saturday, July 16, 2022 after a period of declining health. She was born on January 30, 1934 to the late Henry H. and Sarah (Schrock) Beachy. On February 23, 1956 she married William J. Keim who preceded her in death on November 28, 2008. Arie was a homemaker and a member of the Messiah Amish Mennonite Church.

She is survived by her children, Wayne (Verna) Keim, Ruth (Steve) Yoder, Cathy (Sam) Mast, and Wilma (Jesse) Mast all of Millersburg; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Sylvanus (late Alma) Beachy of Sugarcreek, Aden Beachy of Sarasota, Florida; and sisters-in-law, Ada (late Henry) Beachy of Millersburg and Cindy (late Elmer) Beachy both of Millersburg.

In addition to her parents and her husband William, she was preceded in death by her son, Dean Keim; siblings, Katie Ann (Joe) Miller, Emanuel (Edna) Beachy, Christ (Katie) Beachy, Clara (Demas) Mast, Lizzie Ann (Mose) Raber, Andy (Erma) Beachy, Anna (Roman) Hershberger, Mose (Edna) Beachy, Henry Beachy and Elmer Beachy.

Funeral services will be held at Messiah Amish Mennonite Church, 5237 SR 557, Millersburg, on Monday, July 18, at 10:00 AM with Bishop Philip Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Gospel Haven Cemetery. Friends may call at Messiah Church from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Sunday. A special thank you on behalf of the family to the staff at Walnut Hills and Ohio's Hospice LifeCare for their kindness and care.
