HANNA-Ms. Arletta Viola 71,
a long time resident of Nitro
Heights, died yesterday at her
home after a heart attack. A
native of Webster Springs, she
was a member of St. Paul's
Methodist Church in Nitro, the Women's
Society of Christian Service, and the
Ladies Bible Class.

Surviving are her husband, Newman;
a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Stiles of Charleston;
a son. Chester W. Bourne, who is a Charleston
City Councilman;
seven step-sons, Clarence Hanna of Cross Lanes, Alva
Hanna of Cabin Creek, Cecil of
Hometown, and Gene, Lester,
Marvin and Mac Hanna all of
Nitro; three step-daughters,
Mrs; A. R. Hudson and Mrs.
Clarence Hudson, both of Nitro.
and Mrs. Add Whtttington of
Buffalo; three brothers, Paris,
Ray and Dawson Hammrick,
all of Webster Springs; two
sisters, Mrs. Ellet Cummings
of Charleston and Mrs. Daisy
Hammrick of Valley Head;
seven grandchildren; 26 step-grandchildren;
and I3 step-great-grandchildren
Service will he at 2 p. m.. tomorrow at
St. Paul's Church, conducted by
Rev. Arnold Belcher. Burial
will be in Teays Hill Cemetery
near St. Albans. The body is
at Fred Cooke and Sons mortuary at Nitro
and will be taken to the church an hour
before service.
