About Aron Isaac Maier
Aron Isack Maier was one of the first Jews to settle in Ulm soon after the Emancipation Act of 1828 and the granting of the right to vote in 1835. By 1842 at the latest he moved into a former warehouse next to the Barfuesser-monastery on Cathedral Square (Muensterplatz), which had been used since the Reformation as a school.
