Arpa Ke'un, also known as Arpa Khan or Gavon or Gawon (died 1336), was an Ilkhan (1335–1336) during the disintegration of the Mongol state in Persia. He was a member of the house of Tolui. His lineage traced back to Ariq Böke who was a youngest brother of Möngke, Kublai and Hulagu.

Arpa Ke'un came to power following the death of his distant cousin and brother in law, the Ilkhan Abu Sa'id in 1335. Almost immediately he had to deal with an invasion by Ozbek Khan of the Golden Horde. He defeated the invasion, and furthermore used it as a pretext for executing Abu Sa'id's widow Bagdad Katun in an effort to cement his power. He afterward married Sati Beg, Abu Sa'id's sister and widow of Coban. In 1336, he faced attack from the governor of Baghdad, Oirat 'Ali Padsah. The latter defeated him near Maraga on April 10, and soon after Arpa was captured and killed. He was succeeded as Ilkhan by the puppet Musa.

He succeeded his distant cousin and brother-in-law (Abu Sayeed Bahador Khan) as Sultan 30 Nov 1335. He was defeated in battle. m (Tabriz [Feb/Mar] 1336) as her second husband, SATI BEG, widow of CHUPAN of the Suldus tribe, daughter of OLJAITU Il-Khan. She married thirdly Sulayman Il-Khan.

Arpa Khan, Abu Sa’id’s successor, was a distant relative of the Ilkhans, descended from Arigh Bugha, a brother of Hulegu. He managed to defeat the Golden Horde under Uzbek Khan, but was himself killed in a fight against his rivals who then installed Musa, a grandson of Baydu, on the throne. Musa ascended the throne in 1336 as a puppet of Ali Beg, the governor of Baghdad. However, Shaikh Hassan Bozorg, the Jalayerid nobleman, defeated Ali Beg and soon removed Musa from power. The candidate of Shaikh Hassan Bozorg, Mohammad Khan, was challenged by several other Ilkhanid claimants. In the meantime, the son of Amir Chopan, Shaikh Hassan Kochak (the Little Shaikh Hassan) opposed the Jalayerid ruler and became a kingmaker of his own, defeating Shaikh Hassan Bozorg in several battles and confining him to Baghdad. Although Shaikh Hassan Bozorg chose another Ilkhanid pretender as his candidate for the throne, the Jalayerids soon started to rule on their right, forming a strong power based on Baghdad and expanding to western Iran, as far as Shiraz. The Ilkhanids were effectively finished in 1339, marking over a century of Mongol rule in Iran.
