He looked more like Pappa Dad Elias with finely features. Arthur learned barbering while in the Army WW 1.

He had a barber shop in Norphlet, Ark. and lived in El Dorado, Ark. He was left handed and could not cut hair very fast He was also a diabetic and a double amputee because of it. His blood sugar was very high before his death.
