LEICESTER - Arthur P. Mallett, 83, of Leicester died Monday, September 9 in Clark Manor Nursing Home after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 55 years Virginia (Polino) Mallett of Leicester; a brother Edward Mallett of Worcester; three sisters Florence McGurn of Worcester, Laura Andreoli of Millbury and Linda Booker of Worcester and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Holyoke son of Albert E. and Catherine (Robinski) Mallett.
Mr. Mallett was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He was a self-employed contractor for many years.
A graveside service will be held Friday, September 13 in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton at 12 PM. There are no calling hours. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street Worcester are directing arrangements.
