Arthur Ivano McCalla died surrounded by his family and Wife Maybella McCalla at the age of 86 Arthur, born on March 7th 1932, was a Veteran and was extremely proud of his place in this country. Arthur was a man of knowledge and hard work and he preached that even in his retired years. Arthur leaves behind a delicate wife Maybella, a son - Lawrence Arthur McCalla, as well as 8 grandchildren, Keeba, Evan, Damian, Kendahl, Lawrence Jr., Shayna, Kim. If ever the conversation were brought up about what would happen at the time of his passing, he made it very clear that he would like to spend eternity with his mother, Linda McCalla and his brother Courtney McCalla, so that’s what his family will do on December 8th at 10:00 am at the Cusack Morturay in Deland Florida. There is always a word that describes an individual when you think of them, and Arthurs word was and will always be dedication. As a family, we may not have understood why Arthur would do things, but it was always in the best interest of his loved ones. No matter what type of trouble or situation a person might have found themselves in, he would bend over backwards to make it all work. Some things were not always totally understood and would cost him his health at times, but he would always pull through for the ones he loved. What he did on a daily basis, did not need to ever be explained – he was absolutely the Patriarch of this family.
