Merrill, 43, Amy, 35, Morgan C., 12, Amy Lucille, 10, Zelma Eliza, 7, and Arthur B., 5. Henry and Amy were born in Idaho and all their children in Arizona. They had been married for 16 years, had given birth to six children, one who died as a 2 year old and another, Morgan Clair, in the service of his country before he was 21 years old. Henry was working as a farmer.

In the 1930 census enumerated on April 26th, for Bryce, Graham County, Arizona, Bruce Merrill, 25, was living with his wife, Helen Brockman Merrill, 20, and their son Gordon Bruce, who was 2 months old. Bruce was working as a farm laborer. He and Helen had been married for 2 or 3 years. He was born in Arizona, his wife in Texas, and their son in Arizona. They were renting their home for $10 per month. Helen was the daughter of Oliver Truman Brockman and Artie Brochkman. He was born in Indiana and she in Kentucky, and in 1920 they had been living in Kiowa township, Pittsburgh County, Oklahoma. Tilman was working as a mechanic at a cotton gin. They also had a son Otis and a daughter Opal, also both born in Texas.

By the 1940 census they were living in Osborn, Maricopa, Arizona, and were listed as follows in the census: Bruce, 35, Helen, 30, Gordon, 10, and daughter, Barbara Jean, 6. They owned their own home located at 18th and Indian School Road, which was valued at $1,500. Previously in 1935, they had been living in Solomonville, Graham, Arizona. Bruce was working as a dry goods salesman, and for the 24 weeks he worked at 48 hours per week in that profession his income was $500. Bruce had 4 years of high school, Helen had 2 years, Gordon was in the 5th grade and Barbara Jean was in the first grade.

In a 1947 U.S. City Directory Listing for Phoenix, Arizona, Arthur B. and Helen Merrill were living at 91 Weldon and he was working as a carpenter. In a 1952 directory listing for Phoenix, Arizona, Bruce and Helen Merrill were living at 2802 E. Elm Drive, and he was working as a laborer at Luke Field. Their son, Gordon and daughter Barbara were still living with them and Gordon was working for the U.S. Air Force, and Barbara Jean was working as a clerk at the First National Bank.

A 1956 and 1957 directory listing showed they were still living on Elm Drive and Arthur was working for the U.S. Air Force. Their son, Gordon B., and his wife, Patricia, were living at 4324 E. Palm Lane, and he was still working or the U.S. Air Force.

Arthur Bruce Merrill passed away 8 years later in 1964 at the age of 59 years old. His wife Helen lived another 23 years and died in March of 1987, while living in Sacramento, California.
