About Arthur Henry Richter
"Albany Enterprise," Thu., 15 September 1921, p1
A pretty wedding took place at the St. Rose church on Tuesday morning, with Father Bede officiating, when Miss Gerdie Welle was married to Arthur Richter. The bridesmaids were Miss Frances Welle, sister of the bride and Miss Lena Richter sister of the groom. The groomsmen were Leo Rieland, cousin of the bride and Paul Welle brother of the bride. Hildegard Welle acted as flower girl. She wore a pink silk accordion dress. The bride wore a dark blue embroidered nicotine suit and a hat to match. She wore a pearl necklace and carried a bouquet of roses, gladiolas and ferns. Miss Frances Welle wore a blue embroidered velour suit, while Miss Richter wore a brown embroidered velour suit. The groom was dressed in a dark blue suit and his attendants wore brown suits.
A reception was held during the day at the home of the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Welle, and in the evening a large crowd attended the dance at the Albany city Hall which was given jointly by the two newly married couples, Lambert's Orchestra furnishing the music. Congratulations for a happy and successful union is the wish of their many friends. The young couple will make their home on a farm 2 miles west of Albany.
