Samuel Adler emigrated to the US and was naturalized on the 21 September 1880 in New York, USA. At some point he changed his name from Samuel Adler to Arthur S. A[dler] Keller and does not seem to have used the name Samuel again on any records.

He marries Camilla Hamilton Swaine on the 10 April 1878 in Manhattan, NY, and he gives his parents names as Adolph Zacharias and Regina Todesco.

On his 1882 passport application his date of birth is given as 25 May 1852.

On his mother's death notice in the Neues Wiener Tagblatt of the 3 March 1895, his wife Camilla Adler-Keller is listed as her daughter-in-Law.

He is also mentioned in his half brother Sigmund Löwenstein's probate documents as Arthur Adler (Adler-Keller) along with his son Reginald Adler in New York, America
