Asher Benner Fretz - 90, of Souderton, PA entered into rest on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Lutheran Community at Telford.

He was the loving husband of 64 years to Verna B. (Derstine) Fretz.

Born in Lederach, PA to the late Rueben and Katie (Benner) Fretz.

Asher was employed as an auto mechanic for Al Lankford Buick and for Bud's Tuneup Center, both of Norristown, PA. He later worked for T. D. Keyser Chevrolet of Lansdale.

Following being an auto mechanic, Asher was employed as a circuit board assembler for Simco Electronics in Hatfield, until retiring in 1986.

His special interests included gardening, chair caning, collecting and repairing cuckoo clocks and attending auctions. Asher was a member of Lansdale Mennonite Church.

Funeral services were held on December 23, 2010 at Souderton Mennonite Summit View Auditorium. Burial was at Haycock Mennonite Cemetery in Quakertown, PA.
