Based upon hand writing by Golshanelmolok Gharemani Ghajar and marriage certificate it is stated that he was son of Seif el Molouk. Also stated in marriage certificate that Seif el Molouk was Zel's son. There are numerous references to Seif el Molouk in Tarikh Azodi as being Zel el Soltan's son. Zel el Soltan was Abbas Mirza's brother and governer of Tehran. He declared himself a king and ruled for forty days until Mohammad Shah took over. The Zeli family are his descendents.


[ Assadollah's father was Abbas Mirza's brother. Known as Adel Shah whom was king for 40 days. And commander of Tehran. Assadollah Mirza would have been king if his father had succeeded. He was out of favor and his father escaped. Kashef ol saltaneh Mohammad Mirza Chaikar, Kashef ol-Saltaneh founder of tea in iran is also a descendant. ]

Assadollāh Mirzā (alive in 1899) governor of Semnan till 1847,36 governor of Tuyserkān in 1853,37 governor of Torbat-e Heydarieh in 1856,38 deputy-governor of Shiraz by Soltān Morād Mirzā Hessām os-Saltaneh from Sha’abān 1859, and titled Nāyeb ol-Eyāleh at the same time,39 governor of Boushehr, Dashti and Dashtestān from 1865 to 1868,40 governor of Lorestān, Mahallāt-e Sab’e and Bandar Abbās in 1868. Married Jahān Āra Aziz-os-Saltaneh daughter of Qahremān Mirzā (son of Mohammad Shāh Qajar) had issue, 5 children, three daughters and two sons. He is the ancestor of Chāykar and Sālur families.
