August and Frances came to the US in 1892. They first lived in

           Philadelphia but by 1900 had moved to Lodi, NJ. The 1900 Census     

has the Fischer's living in Lodi where August is listed as a silk dyer.
The 1920 Census has them living at 85 Spring Street in Lodi. This
property was purchased in 1906 and a new house was built on the
property in 1910.
