Augustus Clukey, one of the oldest residents of Dexter, died Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mountain on Grove street, at the age of 90 years. Mr. Clukey was born in Canada but has lived for many years in this town, where he was highly respected. His wife passed away sev- ral months ago. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Mountain, Mrs. Fred Folsom, Mrs. John Pooler, and two sons, Frank Clukey and Paul Clukey. The Eastern Gazette 10-17-1918,p.8
