About Augustus Bampfylde, 2nd Baron Poltimore
"Augustus Frederick George Warwick Bampfylde, 2nd Baron Poltimore PC (12 April 1837–3 May 1908), styled The Honourable Augustus Bampfylde until 1858, of Poltimore House and North Molton in Devon, was a British Liberal politician. Between 1872 and 1874 he served as Treasurer of the Household to Queen Victoria, under William Ewart Gladstone."
