Aurelia Soper Osborne

Aurelia was born in Oneida County in 1810. Her family came from Connecticut. Her parents were Philo and Hannah Soper. She came from a large family. Sturgis Perry Osborne's family was also from CT. His parents were Hezikiah and Nancy (Perry) Osborn(e). Sturgis was named after her brother --- Sturgis Perry. The brother died in his teens. Aurelia and Sturgis had a daughter Helen who died as a baby. Her birth and death are listed in a family Bible Cousin Cinthia Crosby has. Sturgis death is also listed as 1849. Aurelia and their son, Charles, lived with her brother Harmon according to a census record. Mary Ellen and Charles lived in Illinois and Aurelia lived with them and also in Nebraska. Aurelia died in 1884. Cynthia has a photo of an older Charles and Mary Ellen looks like Nebraska. Charles did shoe repair from census data and city directory. Charles died in 1921 and Mary Ellen in 1924 (from family Bible). Charles is buried in Los Angeles California. (From Jaime Howley)
