John Foster, Jr. was the third child of John and Isabel (Golding?) Foster. He was born circa 1719 in Essex County, and according to his will died in Albermarle County sometime between February 11, 1764 and April 27, 1764. Apparently John, Jr. was married twice, first to Ann _?_, and second to Averilla Haskew b circa 1725 in Spotsylvania County. Averilla, who died after 1799, was the daughter of John and Rachel Warren Haskew.
