Avraham Elimelech Fishman, was of the Maimom Family (descendant of Maimonides). Married Babeh Golda and they had 9 children. The family lived in Marculesti, Bessarabia. Two of their children were Rabbi Yehuda Leib HaCohen Maimon (Fishman) and Ada Maimon (Fishman) who emigrated to Palestine (in 1913), were Acivists Zionists and leaders of the zionist movement.
