Bojoval v revolúcii ako štábny kapitán. inžinier, O štyri roky neskôr zdedil otcovu firmu,konvertoval na kresťanskú vieru, cisár mu povolil používať predikát ,,von maglodi,,Uz jeho stryko pouzival predikat ,,kapriora,, a jeho syn a Belov bratanec dosiahol titul rakuskeho baroneta a neskor madarskeho barona. V roku 1869 sa Béla stal politikom, túto funkciu vykonával do svojej smrti. 1896. Bol aj bavorskym a wurtenburskym konzulom, jeho syn Rudolf bol generalnym konzulom a prvym rakuskym velvyslancom v Thajsku. Druhy syn Janos bol tajomnikom na ministerstve vnutra a dcera si vzala barona Bakash- Bessenyho generala. a dcera Angela hlavneho župana abovského Pechyho

Rudolf’s youngest son, Albert Béla Wodianer von Maglód (1831–1896), studied engineering and was a captain in the 1848–1849 revolution. In 1853, he took over a grain-exporting firm that his father owned in Pest, and was a founder of Concordia and Unio, two major grain mills. Albert was ennobled in 1867 with the predicate maglód, the name of the estate upon which he had established a model farm. At some point he converted to Christianity and entered parliament in 1869 as a member of the Liberal Party, serving almost uninterruptedly until his death.
