Barbara Luthi

Whilst out on 'farm labour' from the orphanage, Nancy became pregnant by a farmhand.

Nancy named the baby Ursula Helena
and after taking care of her for 3 months
she was adopted out by the Welfare Authorities.
In later years the mother and child were reunited
Barbara became a speech therapist in New Zealand,
and now married, lives in Canada.

The farmhand Malcolm George Neely was fined for his activities.
