Biography
The lack of specificity on sources make it very difficult to distinguish the husband(s) of this Barbara Stauffer.
1) She was attached to Hans Johannes Leyonberger but it is known that he was the husband of Barbara Bar not Barbara Stauffer. However, his son was married to three Barbara's, the second wife was Barbara Stauffer and is currently connected here.
2) She was attached to Reverend Martin Kneisley Kauffman, Sr.. He was married to a Barbara Stauffer. Although that Barbara has two different sets of parents depending on a tree that you encounter, Kauffman Family History points to his Barbara Stauffer,as born about 1711 in Muckenhauserhof, Ibersheim. Her parents were Daniel Stauffer (b. abt 1685 - d. Mar 1740) and Magdalena Krehbiel (b. abt 1685 - d. 17 Feb 1723).
3) This Barbara was also attached to Martin Funk Nissley. According to Lancaster Mennonite Vital Records, he married Barbara Stauffer but the name comes from her first marriage to Christian Stauffer. Her surname was possibly Bar but there is no evidence it was Stauffer.
