Barbara A. Welty

Mrs. Barbara Welty, died Tues at the home of her sister, Mrs. Geo. Bowman, near Beard's Church, near Chewsville, of general debility, aged nearly 86 years. She was the widow of Michael Welty, and, before removing to the home of her sister, resided at Funkstown. Her husband died 28 years ago. She is survived by sisters, Mrs. Geo. Bowman and Miss Kate Bowers, near Beard's Church, and Mrs. Louise Cunningham, Funkstown and brothers, George and Luther Bowers, in the West and D.A. Bowers, Chambersburg.

Funeral on Thursday, leaving the house at one o'clock p.m. Services at the Lutheran Church at Funkstown by Rev. Remsburg. Interment at Funkstown.
