I posted this a year ago on the Ancestry24.com website. I translated this from a small information card that came with the Beukes family crest that I found in my grandmother's documents when she died and thought it would be of use to someone one day :

1 Johannes Beukes born in 1706, married 30 October 1740 to Catharina Schenk, they had 1 daughter and 2 sons - Gerhardus and Johannes Cornelis Beukes both got married.

1.1 Gerhardus married Elizabeth van Wyk. 2 sons, one married but had no children, the other died unmarried. 1.2 Johannes married Magdalene Adriana Dippenaar, 3 sons, 2 daughters. 1.2.1 Johannes Andreas Beukes born 1779, married but only had daughters. 1.2.2 Barend Beukes, married Martha Aletta Putter, 2 sons, 1 daughter. 1.2.3 Cornelis Johannes Beukes born 1787, married but only had daughters.
