Don Bartolome De Olivares (b. 1644, d. Abt. 1715)

Bartolome De Olivares (son of General Juan De Olivares and Juana De Trevino)

• was born 1644 in Nuevo Leon Mexico, and
• died Abt. 1715 in Nuevo Leon Mexico.
• He married Maria De Sepulveda De Benavides on 25 Dec 1673 in Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico, daughter of Lazaro De Benavides.

Bartolome De Olivares was the sixth child of General Juan De Olivares and Juana De Trevino. His brothers and sisters were as follows

• 5. Juan 1634
• 6. BARTOLOME 1644
• 7. Antonio 1646 (His closest brother in age)

It appears that Antonio and Bartolome had a very close relationship. They both can be found together in must that is found about them. They both joined the Escandon Expedition, they both got land grants close to each other, and combined their ranches at one time to combine and constitute the biggest cattle ranch in this newly settled area of the New World.

Bartolome married Maria De Benavides De Sepulveda on Christmas Day, December 25, 1673 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She was from a family that had Aristocratic standing in Spain before migrating to the New World. They had four children and they were

• 4. Nicolas De Olivares
