Bea, age 90, died Friday, October 25, 2002.

Born Oct 29, 1912. Married Thomas Ballantyne preceded her in death in 1950. They had six children.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters, Dale (Norma), Ruth Gardner, Jean Valdez, Robert (Lael), Don (Alice). Preceded in death by a son, Richard "Dick," and a great great-grandchild, Brian Ballantyne. She has 20 grandchildren, 49 great-grand-children, and 11 great great-grand-children.

Bea enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing for her grandchildren. Her greatest attribute was her dedication and hard work to raise six children on her own. She will be greatly missed but has left us with a lot of cherished memories. We thank her for her love and devotion.

We also thank all that cared for her at Beehive Homes, Senior Companion, and Home Health and especially the kind loving care she received at the Orchard Park Care Center.
