Beatrice Hampson was born on 23 July 1623 in London, England.1 She was the daughter of Philip Hampson.

Beatrice Hampson was christened on 15 July 1627 in the Church of Holy Trinity the Less, London, England.1

Beatrice Hampson married first Abraham Josselyn, son of Thomas Josselyn and Rebecca Jude, on 4 November 1642 in England.1 Elizabeth French's article gives the year of their marriage as 1645.2

Beatrice Hampson married secondly Benjamin Bosworth on 16 November 1671 at Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts.3,2,4,5

Beatrice Hampson passed her last days with her daughter Rebecca.5 She died on 8 January 1712 in Boston, Massachusetts, at age 88.2,5,6 She was buried on 11 January 1711/12 in Granary Burying Ground, Boston, Massachusetts.2,4,6 The grave marker is located one walkway behind the Franklin monument, to the right, front row 14 markers in, directly under a tree.6

The inscription reads:
