María Belén Rodríguez Cozzani (born 20 September 1984) is an Italian-Argentine showgirl and model. Known as Belén Rodríguez or Belén,[2] she has been based in Milan since 2004. Rodríguez hosted[2][3] variety shows and appeared in television commercials[3] and films.[4] Considered a sex symbol of the 2000s and 2010s,[3] she posed for nude calendars.
The international press[4][5] has called Rodríguez "the Rioplatense Sophia Loren"[2][4] and "the Italian Sara Carbonero".[4] She hosted the February 2011 Sanremo Music Festival,[6][4] the third Argentine (after Valeria Mazza and Lola Ponce). Cecilia Rodríguez, an Argentine show-woman active in Italy since 2008, is Belén's younger sister.
