Mrs. Belle Sanford
MARGARETVILLE - Mrs. Belle Sanford, 69, died Saturday in Margaretville Hospital where she had been a patient for five weeks.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Margaretville Presbyterian Church. The Rev. John Earl Naegele, pastor, will officate. Burial will be in Kelly Corners Cemeter.
She was born in Roxbury May 16, 1885, daughter of George and Martha (Alton) walker. She was married to Loren Sanford in April 1902 at the home of her parents in Denver. Mr. Sanford died in 1936. She had lived for 23 years in this place.
She was am member of Margaretville Chapter OES.
Surviving are four sons, George of Andes, Paul and Dalton of this place and Francis of Rensselaer; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Sanford, Margaretville; a brother, John Walker, New Kingston; a step-sister, Mrs Blanch Gray, Norwich; five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Jester Funeral Home, Andes. Until 10 a.m. Tuesday
