About Ben Gould
According to "Hy and Lilian Gould and the Gould Family" by Ron Gould (Ottawa)
Ben who was born on October 15, 1898 in Montreal, moved to New York City as a young man around 1920 after having served in the Canadian Army in the First World War. He married Betty, and worked in NY clubs, including Jack Dempsey's and later opened his own convenience store. He died in 1969 at the age of 71 years.
