About Benedictus Tyzenhaus

The Tyzenhaus have been associated with the Permanents, whose first mention in written sources dates back to 1409, from 1722, when the Permanent Manor, as the wife of Ona Beginskytė's wife, passed to Benedikt Tyzenhaus, the owner of the Skapiškis and Mirabelis manors. After Benedict's death, Permanent was divided by three of his sons, but one of them, Antanas Tyzenhaus, bought out the brothers' shares and became the sole owner.
