• According to the Lathrop Family Memoir, (Ancestry.com):— "44. Benjamin, baptized with the two older children, Aug. 5, 1660. He probably married in 1689, Abigail Stoughton {née Edwards}, daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (Tuthill) Edwards of Hartford, Conn. He died in 1690, without issue, and his widow married in 1697, Capt. Thomas Stoughton of East "Windsor. Richard Edwards was the only child of William Edwards the pioneer of this name in Hartford, Conn., and his wife Agnes Spencer."
